That's how I feel at the minute

A brand new 40D sitting right next to me courtesy of jessops £499 inc cashback and 300 prints

But no lenses

Will have to wait a few days as I wasn't going to pay Jessops price of £349 for the Tamron 17-50 2.8 so ordering one now for £200 from one stop and going to get the 55-250IS from probably 7day shop. That should do me for a little while, well until payday when I get the Sigma 10-20

just ordered the 55-250IS from camerabox so that should be here tomorrow or monday. i'll just wait for the tamron to arrive as i don't think i'd use the nifty much when i have the 17-50 2.8

cheers, unfortunatley i'm in deepest darkest cumbria Ordered the 55-250 yesterday on next day delivery so not sure if it'll turn up today as it's a sat or on monday. I've got a new Dell 1500 laptop to play with this weekend so that should keep me busy if can ever figure out how to get the wireless working under vista - very close to putting xp on it!!

instore at jessops. they had no problems at matching wilkinson's price of 599. A tip for you, order it online by doing collect at store (you don't pay until you pick it up) but go through quidco as they're doing 9% cashback for jessops at the minute ex vat which will work out at about £45. When I went in I just said can you do this for 599 matching other shops and they didn't have a problem. I then asked for 300 7x5 free prints and that was fine as well.

My daughter had some problems with a wireless on Vista. She fixed her IP address to cure it. There is a Vista service pack available now ... see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/w.../bb738089.aspx which may (or may not) cure the problem.
