Severn Crossing, near Bristol.

One from today....

Original Severn Crossing, near Bristol...

LARGE@ http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2130/...78e4ff0e_b.jpg

Has has been ages since I last went out with the camera, and I didn't come back today with many keepers. I also tried to do too much with too little time. Next time...

Still playing around with B&W conversion, so all comments more than welcome

Thanks for the comments guys!

vulkan75, if you do decide to take a trip over there, make sure you have your wellies. But I guess the Welsh side is also very muddy ?

Re: Severn Crossing, near Bristol.

Very nice indeed.

Great foreground interest, cracking sky, and the sun hitting the sticky uppy bits.

Lovely shot.

Re: Severn Crossing, near Bristol.

Thanks!

I'm also a big fan of "black skies", and I think this is the first one that had come out OK.

Also, it's my first day out with a full set of ND Grads, since I only had a Hard 2 EV (0.6) before (Lee)

I used a Soft 3 EV (0.9), but still had to correct about 1 EV between the sky and the foreground in the conversion, which seems to be pretty common for me. Does everybody else seem to see this kind of exposure difference?

I'm just wondering why Lee doesn't do a 4 EV ND Grad
