First digital camera advice needed

Hi im looking for a digital camera, ive had a look around but i haven't got a clue what is good and whats not as this is my first digital camera. I have around £150 to spend was just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.

Hmmm! Check out the Canon A720 IS, Canon SX100 IS and Panasonic DMC-FZ8 for starters.
