Ok, here's a few comments. Please don't assume I could have done any better !
Left to right, top to bottom:
- May crop to the right showing more of the sax ?
- looks a little out of focus
- Nice, caught the pose. I wonder if bringing out the shadow more would ruin the vibe ?
- Focus again and the flash looks quite harsh
- Mic is obscuring his face
- Thats a nice shot, maybe too much flash reflection in the bass drum ?
- Nice angle, just missed the shot with stick obscuring face
- A nice shot - maybe my favorite
- Ok, would have been better with the drummer in shot
- Nice pose, maybe crop to the left ?
- This *is* my favourite. Nice.
- A little off focus
- Nice framing and good pose. I'd be itching to try and bring up the shadows (probably missing the point of the mood)
- Not a great facial expression
- Great framing, great shot. Just wondered if there was anyway you could have also got the guitarist in shot ?
- Tamborine just slightly obscures singers face.
- Another great pose. Wondered about getting the guitarist in again ?
& 19 I'd have preferred more straight on catching more of her face.
HTH. As a sad old git I probably missed the point of you're vibe with these shots. Harsh direct flash would be my main comment it would be great to experiment with off-camera flash. Hopefuly as a punter looking at them cold, comments may be of help..
Cheers
