Landscape Print

Got one of my Edinburgh stitched panoramas printed this week.
I'm donating it to a raffle for charity in work.
But it looks great IMO so might just have to get one done for myself too!

Hopefully it'll attract a few quid from the rafflers!
Landscape Print-print_edin_pano_sun.jpg

Edit: Should give a bit more info!
The frame is 30” x 10.5” , print is 26" x 6.5".
This is the image:-

Looks great, sure that will fetch a few quid and a very generous thing to do for charity that IMO.

Re: Landscape Print

Fantastic

How much did it cost for the printing and frame if you don't mind my asking?

I've still had absolutely none of my shots printed yet!

Re: Landscape Print

Thanks for the comments guys, appreciate it hopefully the peeps at work will agree and buy tickets.

I feel better knowing it's not a duffer I'm trying to flog!

It cost about £70 with Parcelforce delivery. Reasonable I think although parcelforce do charge an arm and a leg.

Printed by togsprint near Leeds I think.

Very helpful advice and service from them by the way.

Re: Landscape Print

You should get well over £70 for that I reckon, a great shot well presented.

Re: Landscape Print

Just goes to show how much printing and framing can do for an image, the mat always seems to add something aswell. Let us know how the raffle goes

I hope so, couple of hundred people in my building and I'll try to promote it a bit wider. Fingers crossed.

Glad you like it , I really like the presentation and think double-mount really looks the part. I'll be doing business with togsprint again for sure.

I'm liking creating these stitch panos too and have lots more in mind - there's 7 hills in Edinburgh

Not very original I know, but I am just a techie geek!

Cheers Bubble!
Aye that would be ideal!
Well I have got some Moo cards now to hand out to folk, and should someone suggest they'd like to buy a print then you never know...

I suppose it'll give me a bit of publicity albeit just in work... I already bore them to tears with camera talk so it will be nice to show them something tangible.

Re: Landscape Print

Very impressive! Also I agree a double mount looks very swish.

Now to get a shot like that from my poor skills ..

Which charity is it you're raising for?

Re: Landscape Print

I remember the shot first time around - I loved it then and I love it now! Good man for giving the proceeds to charity, it's a wonderful shot which warrants a good few quid being spent on it.

Re: Landscape Print

I think the frame helps improve the image a lot - I'm no Colin Prior - thanks though!

It's going to raise money for the Ménière's Society.

Ménière's is a relatively little publicised progressive disease which affects the inner ear and sufferers experience vertigo attacks, tinnitus and often it leads to total hearing loss.

My mum has had it for over 10 years. A friend of mine in her thirties developed it when she was 11 and now only has 40% hearing left in one ear.

There doesn't seem to be a lot known about it, so they can use all the help they can get to research it.
