Canon Eos 75-300 EF lens cleaning

Extremely hard to photography with the compact what i can see.. Would this be better left to the pro's ie Canon for this type of cleaning process? Or is it just a simple as undoing the little screws at the side and cleaning the underside of the optic. The dust has some how got underneath the lens and on to the underside/inside of the camera? The lens is 7 years old soon so i cant complain but im not sure if the dust/muck is starting to degrade or blemish the pics im taking at the moment.. any comments please thanks

also i havent uploaded the pic due to the size of the image.. not very nice seeing that size close up when your trying to read thro info :D

Edit: the Lens is a EF not a EFS.. could have sworn it was

I doubt that those dust particles would show up in your end images to any great extent.
If it had fungus or mould on the inside then I'd suggest getting it seen to but what you've got there is not something I would worry about.

I expect it would probably cost more to get it serviced than the 2nd hand resale value.

And if you're not convinced it's having an effect then it probably isn't .

Yeah i wouldn't worry about it - they won't show up in your images.
I have a 85mm prime with some dust in and it's never caused problems.
