A tree...

I've been heavily inspired by the work or Stevegreen. Holowlegs etc and have today taken a tree shot. Thought I try something a little different and included me in the frame. Shot at sunset approx 2 hours ago so fresh off the press so to speak. More shots from the same shoot to come later..

C&C welcome.

Re: A tree...

Nice - I like the contrast in shapes.

This may sound weird - especially as we've never met. But I knew it was you just from the shape of your head.

Thanks. Should I be worried that you recognised me from the shape of my head

I'm just so used to looking at it through the scope of my sniper rifle.

Glad you're worse at shooting your gun than you are using your camera...

Re: A tree...

Hi ya.

Great colour you got in the sky, like the 1st one

With the 2nd one, not sure if this was possible because I see you shot this at 18 mm, but maybe come back a bit more, so the tree a little bit smaller and maybe not as tight to the left hand side.

Cheers Holo

Gorgeous picture, but I prefer the one without you in it. No offence intended

I agree with you and would have preferred a shot like that but there was a large sign post to the left of the tree as you look at it in the photo so it would have been impossible to go any further back. Plus there was a slight mound of earth between where I was standing and the tree. If I'd have moved further back this would have cut off the bottom of the tree.
