Lightbox - first photos

So i managed to blag a huge lightbox from work, an old one they used to check transparencies on which prompted these first efforts.

It's clear that I need some fill lighting, or maybe even the rightfully popular soft box to reflect some of the light to come from above... but for a first effort, handheld, i'm happy(!)

C&C & tips always welcome.

This is going to be my (really late!) entry for the October competition. Hey ho!

And a few other shots too...

Bluefood

Broccoltree

Pirate Captain (cos he's off to eBay)

Beer Bottle

Cheers,

Nelson.

Re: Lightbox - first photos

I quite like the first one there, that would have done well...

I think you need to watch the DOF, your Brocolli shot especially since the main bit facing you is OOF. With a lightbox and a tripod setup, you should be able to use any aperture you like.
