olympus C-60 question.. which xd card????

i have an olympus camedia C-60 digital camera bought from jessops like 3 years ago now, & i'm looking to upgrade the memory card.

it came with i believe the standard 32mb xd picture/memory card

what would you suggest & where is the best place to buy?.

I really dont know but I modified the your thread title to get it more attention . Have you had a look at play.com It seems a pretty popular around here for cards. Amazon is another but Amazon market place has all sorts

A word of caution on the memory card, your camera might not take the bigger memory cards that have come out since your camera was made.

Just looked it up on the the web, all it says that it takes cards up to 512mb, but that doesnt that it wont take anything bigger, might have been that was the biggest card around 3 years ago.

Might be worth finding out first though

it sure is becoming an ancient camera, & at the same time tonight, im now looking into buying something like the olympus camedia type again, a newer model. have they made (i'm sure) a newer model?.

what would you suggest here?.
something with more than 6.1MP but at the same time a quality lens and good optical zoom.

You can buy a 1Gb and 512Mb.. they really are dead cheap now. If the 1Gb doesn't work, return it for credit and get more cards or say a card reader ect
Unless you don't use the camera much, you can never have too many cards IMHO

Sounds like a good 500 to me. I think your pics are about 1Mb each with some space for formatting of the Card. 512 may be enough TBH unless you plan on buying another camera that uses xd and will them use the cards with that

Surprisingly the 1Gb card seems much cheaper than the 512Mb.. it may be worth buying a 256 and 1Gb instead. If the 1Gb works it is still far better VFM than 512, if not just get a few 256Mb ..

thanks, but i checked it out, the c-60 does not support a 1gb.
only up to 512...
