Hi,

My dad is getting himself his first digital camera for Xmas.

He's read loads of reviews on the DMC-TZ3 and they all say it's great apart from the 'over aggressive noise reduction'.

Can anyone who's tried/got this camera say whether they think this is a real problem?

Are they likely to correct this problem with an updated version of the camera, or do cameras have firmware and might it be corrected this way?
