I've just bought a digital photo frame and I'm trying to transfer pictures from my pc, rather than from my camera via a usb lead, but with no success. I believe in order for the digi photo frame to read the images they have to be in jpeg form. Anyone help.

Are the photos on your PC not Jpeg then ?

What photo frame model is it ?

Yes, the photos are in jpeg form and digital photo frame is a I.T.works

plug the USB cable into the photo frame and then into the PC. if you go into my computer there you should find the photo frame it may be as a hard disk. click on it and when it opens go back to the start menu a go to my pictures and open them. now drag the pic you wont onto the photo frame. hope this helps.

Does the photo frame have its own memory then? When you say you plug your camera in can you upload the photos, unplug the camera and still view them?

I think all digi frames have limited built in memory to store a few shots but it is more for demo purposes only.You need to use a memory card to store a good number of pics and most frames support several types of card.I have just bought a Play.Com branded 2GB SD card for my Kodak frame for only £8.50.Using my photos unchanged from my Canon Ixus 500 this will let me store about 800 photos - more than enough i reckon !
