Cool Been a while . . . A few shots from a College Trip

Good Evening all,

It's been a couple of months since i've really been around here properly, I still pop over and browse around a few times a week, just been quite snowed under as i'll explain . . . .

Basically a couple of you will probably know, at the age of 31, I've gone back to school I'm doing a degree in 'Multimedia Design', which incorporates all aspects of design including, web, photography, animation, general design (packaging etc..).

The other week we actually went on a skool trip, which was fun, and it was actually the first time in about 5 weeks that I picked up my camera. So here are a few shots I grabbed, and also i've moved over to the Mac world, and now have a slightly different workflow....

Most of these were taken on high ISO settings, but I haven't run them though any noise software, mainly because I haven't downloaded any on the Mac yet, but I also kinda like the feel of them like this.

Hopefully i'll get out for another day with the camera soon.

Giz

Good to see you're still about Giz!

Nice set of shots there, 1,2 & 7 really stand out for me, and the frames must be of a high standard too since I didn't even notice them until the second glance.

Good luck with the skool work, I hope it goes well for you.

Thanks alot for your comments

TOMATO - the course is going well, just got out marks for our first project back 'Retro Packaging'. I re-designed McDonald's stuff with a 'ukiyo-e' style, got a distinction which I was pretty happy with

At the moment we're doing some animations stings for E4, and i'm doing an advertising photography campaign on Apple iMacs, all good fun, but also quite hard going....

Loving the Mac world , and it's even got photomatix running on it now, so when I next get out expect a bit of HDR, it's been a long time since I dabbled in that

Good work.
I recognize that! It looks like the Apollo Module at the Science Museum.
