Olympus 770SW advice please.

I am looking to buy my first digital camera. I like the look of the Olympus 770SW because its a tough camera (water/dust/crush/shock/freeze proof) not because I'm an action man type but it should be ok if it gets dropped, wet, or sat on. I doubt I'll ever take any underwater pics.

Does anyone have this camera and if so is it worth buying? Are there other similar rugged cameras about that are better than this? It will just be a general use camera for holidays, home, parties etc and I am looking to spend around £200.

I know it might be overkill for what I will use it for but having owned other cameras over the years that have been dropped I like the idea of having something that won't break easily.

Any help or advice much appreciated.
