Best digital camera - Max £150?

I am in the process of trying to find the best camera for work, but I only have around £150 to play with.

What they really want is one that can last for quite a few snaps, and also have a Li-Ion battery, as they had one with AA Batteries before, and that hardly lasted long at all.

Any recommendations?

Ahoy!

I would recommend this one. Price is tight, though you might find it a shade cheaper elsewhere. Plenty of good reviews out there.

Thanks for that link, but after showing it to the person this is for, what they really want is something more compact, a bit like my Canon IXUS 900ti, but obviously not as expensive.

Not sure about how much I could go past the £150, depends on the quality of it I presume, as I will not be asking him for the maximum price they can stretch to.

Best indoor cameras are from Fuji, something like a F31 or F40.

Both are excellent cameras, thought the F31 has Programmed AE, Shutter Priority AE, Aperture Priority AE and iso 3200, whilst the F40 has only Programmed AE and tops out at iso 1600.

Was going to say the Fuji F31fd.
