Recommend me a Monopod (please)

I'm after a monopod with head included for under £50.
Any recommendations on make/model and where I can get one from?

Argos do a real cheap one for £14.99 http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/st...hTerms=monopod, but its probably completely useless?

Thanks
Gary

Manfrotto 680B ~ £40.

I don't think a separate head is as useful on a monopod (than a tripod), since you can't just walk away and leave it! You screw the pod into the camera and wedge it into the ground / against your foot for stability. Personally, I can't see the point of putting a ball / 3 way head on a monopod.

Re: Recommend me a Monopod (please)

The reason for wanting a head on the monopod is that I leave the quick release plate from my tripod attached to the camera at all times. I would have to remove the quick release plate and then attach the camera to the monopod.
Ideally I'd like to be able to simply slide my camera straight onto either my existing (cheap) tripod or a monopod without having to unscrew this and screw that.

Now, I guess my next question is.....Are all quick release plates the same? Is there like an industry standard shape & size?
If not, then I suppose I will need to buy both monopod and new tripod from the same manufacturer.
