A Fowl Afternoon

What a dull day for photos, but managed to get a couple of decent shots of these fowl at our local lakes, i tempted the goose closer by pretending to have some food, the look was when it found out i had nothing for him

Detail shows but its hard to hide how downcast it was ( still is here)

Re: A Fowl Afternoon

Nice to see some detail in those shots. Looks like the light hasn't done you any favours though - it might be worth adding some contrast and saturation in.

Re: A Fowl Afternoon

Hi ya

Like the swan shot, were these taken with the 400mm the exif has been striped.

Something I have been doing with my background is making a colour balance adjustment layer and adding a touch of blue. Think it brings out the white of the swan. Maybe not to everyone's taste, a bit like this one.

Cheers Holo
