Signage

Here's a shot from today straight out the camera with nothing done save a conversion from RAW to JPEG in Lightroom:

Pentax K10D, Pentax 18-55mm, 40mm, 1/13th @ f18, 100iso

EDIT - White balance was set to either Cloudy or Shade!

Re: Signage

It's nice to see a photo straight out of the K10D as I was considering buying this camera.
As you've shot in RAW I think you could do with making a seperate exposure for the sky and land and then merge the two.

I keep meaning to get some ND Grads which would have helped here but I'll have a play in PS and see what I can come up with to get some colour back into the sky!

I keep meaning to get a gray ND Grad but I think I'll wait now until I purchase a DSLR and lens.

I need to work out the size I'll need. Unfortunately without going to the top end of the Cokins or switch to Lee filters, nothing will fit my 14mm f2.8 Sigma so I think I should probably buy big enough to fit the Pentax 16-50 f2.8 DA* with a 77mm front element!
