Yesterday's (decent weather) photo's

Had some sunshine out yesterday and it looks like it's set to continue through the weekend

Anyway took the opertunity to discover "swanholme lakes" in Lincoln. They are really quite nice and must be stunning at dawn with a mist over them I imagine so may have to revisit early morning. Really quiet there aswell for some reason

#1 - Light and dark - tried to give this one a bit of a moody feel don't know if I'm its biggest fan...

10mm | 0.8s | F14 | CPL

#2 - Looks like Autumn has truly hit us!!

10mm | 123s | F10 | CPL + 10stop ND

#3 - A bit of a play to see how close I could focus with my 50 1.4 and a +4 filter...

50mm | 1/160s | F2.8 | +4 close up filter

#4

10mm | 1/15s | F9 | CPL

#5 - Went to this location as part of the project I'm currently working on. This was shot with the 'ole 400D as the 40D was engaged with my project.

28mm | 112s | F13

Better get off to bed now. Especially as I'm planning a dawn shoot tomorrow morning!!

Love #2 & #4 and the road shot, wanted to stop around every bend tonight, light was glorious but had to get home on time for tea.

Nice shots Ally. #4 and #5 for me.

Like Biscuit, I would have liked to stop and take some shots on the way back from work this evening when I saw the colours of the sunset. But, unfortunately, time was against me and I had to get home.

Love No's 2 & 4, superb shots. First one looks a little dark to me for some reason.

Must try some long exposure shots too, been meaning too for a while and just haven't the motivation to get out there ate the moment

Lovely light and colours in #2 there. The composition makes it look like the wind is blowing across the lake and into the vegetation. Nice one!
