Some flowers from Tenerife

First a bird of paradise:



I have not seen an hibiscus with this colouring before:



I do not know the name of this bloom but I think it looks nice especially with the bokeh on this shot:

This is one we have in our kitchen. I think it's the same colouring but yours is daylight & mine is indoor flash.

Nice shots John, I like the Bottlebrush (Callistemon) the best.

I got this shot of a Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) in South Africa last May:



And also some bees in a Bottlebrush

I do not think it is just a case of different lighting. Yours looks more yellow rather than the deep orange of the two I shot, but thanks for the comments.

No mine is deep Orange, I could have upped the colour but I left it almost as taken, you know how flash at close range pales things ( I did it close because I didn't want to show the washing up). On mine on the inside of the flower there are Brown/Red marks that look more defined, maybe that is different.
