Re: Lens advice

If it fit a 20D it will fit a 350D.. they both have Canons EF fit
Is it worth £200?
Im not sure although I like the f 2.8
After using the Sigma 70-300 DG APO ( albeit with f4.5) ,I would rather buy one with IS though . Im not sure how much more that would set you back.

IS and a fast Zoom would be the ideal but that would be so much more expensive.

Maybe someone who has one on here can comment on the value of the lens

Re: Lens advice

Looking at its picture again, I'm rather a little apprehensive of putting that on a 350D.. it looks long and heavy!!

Im almost sure the answer to the teleconverter is at best .. probably: If it was a Canon Id say Definitely

Re: Lens advice

hmmm it's listed at £200 buy it now, it may go for alot less though. It looks kind of an old lens and not one i've seen before so can't comment on it.

I'd be tempted to sell your 75-300 which you have in your sig and save for either the 70-300IS or 70-200 f4

Re: Lens advice

That lens is about £370 new on OSD, so £310 doesn't seem bad at all if it's in good condition?

Re: Lens advice

I dont think there is any bad "L" lens TBH.

70-200 f4L is widely regarded.. Its F2.8/ ( IS) version even more so
