My Nieces’ Wedding.

Here are some from my niece Rachel’s wedding I went to last weekend.
Can’t say how much I admire people like Radiohead etc who put there heads on the line and have to perform for the public, what a responsibility!
I shot about 3.0GB of photos and only came up with half a dozen shot that I quite like!
To do that as a job must be really nerve racking when you only get one chance to get it right, and as for the PP on them I don’t know how anybody finds the time, I’m retired and it’s taken me all week to sort them out for posting on Flickr.
I was so intent of not getting in the Pro’s way I missed most of the best pictures.
Have a look and give me some feedback please.

(Tried to download from Flickr, didn’t work, what a NUMPTY! Have to put them on Photobucket and re-post, never have any problem with them!)

Sorry!

Sorry!

Re: My Nieces’ Wedding.

Good job there - I particularly like 1 and 3. Good framing and composition, great mono conversions and well-timed. You can be well pelased with them.

edit - Nos 1 and 4 in the revised posting.

Re: My Nieces’ Wedding.

The last confetti one is the best of the bunch I think. The others are good except for the registry signing one which looks like the shutter speed was a bit slow (darkish room, ISO too low?). Lovely overall though - well done.

Re: My Nieces’ Wedding.

Great lighting in these shots. I'm reading a book about light at the moment. I like these a lot.

nice set of pics. dof field in the 1st is great. 3rd one would have been better if the groom was more in focus

Re: My Nieces’ Wedding.

great b/w conversion the last being my fav, not sure about the colour upload as I think it could be improved by centering the bridesmaids and clone brushing out the bride as she adds distraction to the shot
