The Golden Harvest

Mine for day 30!!

The Golden Harvest

and one more........a camera toss picture. Easy to do, stick the camera on delayed shutter, chuck the camera in the air, let it expose and see what comes out......what fun! (not with the DSLR by the way )

Swirling

Great work steve - the first one is just perfect. Love everything about it. Top notch!

The second one isinteresting - would like to try this technique out - maybe with a little flash though.

I have admit - I just tried chucking my camera up in the living room with the flash firing. Mixed results. It's difficult to get the timing right.

Re: The Golden Harvest

Love to rock the boat, and I prefer the second shot. In fact, I tried it by swinging my P&S round in the kitchen while making a cup of tea but I just got some striped of lights

Yours looks fantastic.

Re: The Golden Harvest

i agree with horribleman and also prefer the second one - maybe because it looks like a piece of art - cant quite pin point what it is i like though - the colours and pattern i suppose - looks quite soothing and nature based. Could see it as a paining too being hung in a modern home.

Nice work for a throw! Print it big on canvas, put it in a gallery and someone will end up paying 10 grand for it!

Glad everyone likes the second picture, I've taken loads like that over the years so I could be in for a load of money.

I've got a lot of video footage like that as well, where I have pushed record by mistake while walking along swinging the cam. The soundtrack also features meaningless conversation, coughing and random noises. All very arty. (or not!)

Not really my cup of tea, although 1 is

Mike

Re: The Golden Harvest

hey steve - lovin' your work...

especially no.2, great colours and action...

in fact, I have a challenge for you(!) - I saw a technique that used zooming to create interesting effects when you still held the shutter open... it looks similar to the shot above except rather than a spin or a swirl it has stright lines to and from the vanishing point...

though I realise you're probably busy enough!

N.
