Spent the weekend at a freinds in Earley just outside Reading - it was wet !!

Went out or a quick walk around the fields were we came upon a few birds of the feathered kind

1 Cormorants

2 A Heron

3 We scared him off

5 Our friends dog was having a great time

Now for the flood shots, first in The Oracle shopping centre, the river Kennet runs right through it (bad idea !)

Then on to Earley, just outside Reading near the M4, the local Cinema and Garden Centre had all struck problems

Hey Great pictures
Particularly like 1, 4, 5 & 15.

Incidentally I was in Reading myself on Friday and got stuck for hours due to closed flooded roads etc.

I was actually at site of pictures 6, 7, 8 & 9 but wasn't that badly flooded on Friday.

P.S. Seen a heron like that in my back yard a few times - after my koi.

Unusual, I've never seen a cinema with a moat before mate ! Looks a right mess down there ............
