74mm CPL Filter anyone ?

Would anyone have a circular polarizing filter to fit a 74mm camera, mainly a Cybershot H7 ?

I don't want to spend the £90 that Sony want I would rather get the Wide-angle lens for the same price

or does anyone have a DSC-W1, DSC-W12, DSC-W15, DSC-W17, DSC-W5, or DSC-W7 ?

As I have this a VAD-WA Adaptor ring plus a UV and a circular polarizing filter that are going spare, these will fit 30mm lenses.

First to PM me can have them for free

Re: 74mm CPL Filter anyone ?

Scrap this............

Need some big help from some ebay people.!!!!!!!!!

I have just been informed that I can get a step down ring from a 74mm to a 72mm the only issue is that these are from ebay and I have never done ebay and would like to stay away from it.

Would anyone be able to check ebay for me and give me some pointers ?

Here are some useful links:

Basic guide to using ebay

Using Ebay

Paying for Ebay Items

Paying via Paypal here

74-72mm Step Down Filter Ring here

I would always recommend paying for items on ebay via paypal. Signing up for paypal is relatively straightforward. Always check their feedback before buying.

The item you're looking for appears to be on sale at a "Buy it now" price so you don't have to bid, just click on buy (after signing up for an ebay and paypal accounts) and away you go. I've bought a number of items from foreign sellers on and off ebay with no problems and the guy that's selling your item has plenty of positive feedback.

I'm sure once you've signed up, you'll be an old hand at ebay within a week!

I already have a PayPal account used that to pay for my flickr account, I just not to sure on buying stuff. Feedback is easy to fake.

Thanks for the tips.

Re: 74mm CPL Filter anyone ?

Feedback can be faked but not on the scale of the sellers selling the item you're looking for. They are 'power sellers' which in laymans' terms means they've shifted loads of stuff. Both the sellers I sighted with your item for sale have 99% plus feedback and thousands of items bought/sold, so they should be trustworthy enough.

Another step down ring here
