Thumbs up LonestarDigital Plugin for CS2/CS3

Ahoy!

Try this:

http://www.lonestardigital.com/

You'll need LBHR2-CS2_v1.0 for CS2 and CS3.

Excellent tool. Fully explained.

I've uploaded 2 100% crops after only de-noising and auto levels applied. LSD action applied to image 2. You can adjust the sharpening manually to your own needs from the default 1.0.

Good spot - will try that tonight. Should take some guesswork out of sharpening. And free too!

Re: LonestarDigital Plugin for CS2/CS3

Just tried it - cool method of sharpening. Seems to be much more controllable.

No problemo. I've used it for a while now. I thought it common knowledge. Anyway, you know where to send the donations. Failing that, can I buy your vote when I enter the photo comp?

Re: LonestarDigital Plugin for CS2/CS3

Ahoy Again!

UPDATE:

Just as an experiment, I've uploaded 2 100% crops. EXIF in image. See opening post.

Image 1 is noise reduced and auto levels only.
Image 2 is the same + LSD action applied.

I've found that it is better to do any noise reduction prior to applying the LSD action.

Note the detailing around the eyes and the overall improvement in sharpness and clarity.
