Cant see any difference from what is already done in photoshop etc, the only
thing is that its done in camera instead of on the computer.

just take a butchers at the glamour photos, legs made to look longer and more shapely, skin blemishes removed, skin given toning etc etc etc.

Yeah I know and understand the use of Photoshop post-capture, but putting it in-camera is implying that it is a must-have for today's public. "Now you no longer need to feel ashamed about photographing your fat friends and fat family members. With this camera you can change their appearance".

I bet it prompts some interesting arguments in use !!!

Yeah i can just imagine the arguments, the sort that you can never win.

like ` so your taking my picture with this camera because i am fat etc`

I can see your point about this though, its one thing to do it in PS, but another game entirely to build it into the camera.
