Tried to go out and take some close ups of poppies at the weekend, but the countryside was locked!!

I`ll try again next week

Re: Countryside locked for the weekend

Thanks, I have been watching that field for ages, lots of poppies growing there, the day I went to photograph them, it was padlocked! It was open today but the weather was awful!
Nevermind, I got another shot of a poppyfield on Friday, but it was still misty and I am not sure about the background, I`ll post it later.

Re: Countryside locked for the weekend

The linked image is lovely and sharp. Just as an aside, linking images from Flickr is fine, however, you should make it a clickable link to the images photo page and not the image itself (this is in Flickrs terms and conditions) the other thing with doing this is that it registers as a view on Flickr every time it's clicked

To do this you need to wrap the URL of the photo page in the URL tags and the image you want displayed in the IMG tags, so it goes:

[*url=Flickr photo page URL][*img]Image URL[/img][/url] (just knock the * out)

Re: Countryside locked for the weekend

Ok Steve, I dont think I understand that

When i go to my flickr photo page it says...
To link to this photo on other websites you can either:
1. Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage:
( box full of html)
2. Grab the photo's URL:
( box with URL in)

I tried a couple of times, I either get the photo displayed or a line of html that I can do nothing with.

Pretend I am a child of six and tell me what to do and how
