Did you have to do anything different in view of all the chrome in the images? I would expect an over-exposure without dialling-in some compensation. Can't remember ever photograaphing anything as shiny though!

Yep I was on full auto and was cheating.. my bad- and to be honest there were lots of people swaming round the bikes it was difficult to mess about with settings and then take a piccy without them getting in the way.. Hence just point n click
