I took a few shots of Damselfly yesterday.

Very beautiful insects.

So much detail in their wings. Post later on.

I like the 2nd one best- Hula Hoop position.

Is it the female or male that has to kill her back to please their partner?

Thanks Holo, I was about 2-3ft away in the first one, about 6-8in in the second. The bugs have to be fairly cooperative at this focal length. The really serious bug shooters usually use 150mm + lenses, but this is out of my price range. You can also increase working distance with diopters and/or teleconverters, and increase magnification and reduce working distance with tubes.
If you do decide to get this lens, you won't be sorry. The AF is as noisy and slow as they say, but for bugs you usually use MF. The sharpness is a real eye opener, and it is good VFM as far as macro lenses go IMO. I paid £200 for mine off Onestop Digital
