Anyone got a Dell 19" LCD???

Hi

Just purchased a new Dell PC to replace my 10 Year old one.

New PC has a 19" LCD monitor (SE197FP) but I'm struggling to get a decent image on it.

I've played with the contrast/brightness settings but although the images are 'sharper' than my old CRT, they appear 'washed out'.

Has anybody got one of these and can recommend some settings?

Thanks!

Leigh

I've 'fiddled' with the intel video card 'contrast & brightness' settings.

Its loads better now.

Also put the gamma up to 1.3.

I have a Dell 1905FP and get a great picture from it. I am running it though the DVI connection, so the monitor settings are reduced to brightness and Windows doesn't give much more.

I do make sure that I have the right colour management and that it is matched to those applications that also have colour management like Photoshop.

.
I also have the Dell 1905FP monitor .. it is great, however the one that Booon has is a low cost, low spec one, so we are not comparing like with like.
