I have chosen panasonic FZ50 - but before i buy are there any similar aternatives??

Well a sthe title says, are there any similar cameras, (possibly slightly cheaper)?

Probably no better all rounder but if you fancy a DSLR you might look at the
D40 or Pentax K100.....I miss the one cam does all quality of my old panni but love the results you can get with ther D40 and a fast lens

The FZ50 is the best of the best as far as prousmer/bridge cameras go.
