Just took my first pic with my 400D

I've had a brand new 400D (kit lens) with a fair bit of kit for over a month all of which is brand new.

It's past 2am and revision was just boring me. I saw this dead(ish) fly and thought 'Hey, lets see what this baby can do!' Bearing in mind I'm really new to photography, it's a first attempt.

The picture is well taken and I like your framing

However I truly don't like flies ( alive, dying or dead)...

At any rate a subject like that would be best as a macro shot : the kit lens doesn't have that..Still you were bored at 2.00am......

Mod comment: if you must show that fly as an embedded image, remember to restrict yourself to 800px max length on longest side: you can leave the link as is or link the bigger image from a smaller one
