Tropiquaria, Somerset *56K Warning*

Went down to my native Somerset over the Easter weekend. Sadly, not much time for photography, but did manage to get along to Tropiquaria, a fantastic little place near Washford in Somerset. Great for kids - my 3rd old loves it. (We have a lifetime family pass )

Most were shot with the trusty 20 yr old 200mm F4 AIS lens, the rest have full EXIF embedded - comments welcome.

Lemur

Some kind of Parrot

Emu

Tortoise

Mother and Child

Lazy Meercat

Tarantula - I held this scary blighter after this shot

Thanks for looking

And you said mine were sharp! These are great. I like the lazy meerkat - that would do as an office poster "Tomorrow I've got to stop procrastinating".

Great shots. Like the framing on the lemur one. He looks pretty chilled for a warm day.

But sorry, I can't resist. Is that tortoise not a terrapin?

I thought it was too big for a terrapin - It was about the size of a side plate. I didn't look at the little sign

I like to think he's saying "She loves me... She loves me not..."

Absolutely fantastic shots Liquid. I've been reading photography books all evening and yours match anything I've seen.
