A ruined abbey, flowers and a car
3 completely different and totally unrelated photos do keep you amused. Is it me or is the forum a bit slow at the moment? Dont lurk, post!

Nice shots Tober. Not sure if it's just me or could the flowers benefit from a slight lift in brightness? Great composition and DOF on that shot, and I like the car shot too.

You're probably right re. the brightness. I took it down a bit to make the background less pronounced - maybe took it a bit too far. It's being printed at A2 to go on the wall so didn't want it too garish.

The car ones excellent mate but I love the colouring coming from the brickwork of the abbey reflecting the sun

Thanks for the comments everyone.

The car is two exposures (from a single RAW) with the darker one on top of the lighter one. I put a layer mask on the darker one, with a circular gradient over the car to show a gradual lightening centered around the car as the gradient exposed a section of the lighter exposure beneath the layer mask.
