Re: 5d deal at jessops

If you cherry pick the best prices from http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/ you could save about £150 on the bundle price at Jessops but maybe it's not worth it for the faffing about. I see he same bundle is on offer at cameras2u but they want £3200 for the same bundle so nowhere near such a bargain.

If the bundle has exactly the kit you want then maybe it is not a bad deal, especially considering the convenience of local support in a Jessops store, but if you'd otherwise choose your kit a bit differently - e.g. 24-70 f2.8 instead of 24-105 f4 or 70-200 f4 IS instead of non-IS then, since you're not really making a saving I'd go the cherry pick route for exactly what you want.

I haven't looked but you might do even better, pricewise, by considering the Hong Kong suppliers like Onestop Digital, UR Galaxy or Digital Rev (all with the "no tax guarantee").

Using This you could buy the items individually and save yourself over a hundred quid, which would probably get you half the 85mm f1.8

Edit: tdodd beat me to it!

Re: 5d deal at jessops

There are rumours circulating that Canon have a cashback deal starting on April 1 if you can hold off for a week.
