Mmmm Lamb !

Sorry - thinking about my stomach again

Here are a few 'wildlife' shots I managed in rather windy weather today. C & C welcome as always

Re: Mmmm Lamb !

I just had lamb chops and it was delicious

Photos are great as usual, few very very small comments from a newbie....

First photo - it would have been nice to see the lamb in the middle of the shot rather than lots of lovely green grass and the lamb on the side....

second photo - great photo- had the duck/geese been drinking - looks drunk

third photo- there is a fuzzy bit on the right that catches my attention before looking at the duck and friend

fourth photo - perfect to me...

I think you're dead right - I'm only learning myself... All comments gratefully received

Try these improvements..

Hope these are better compositions.

Re: Mmmm Lamb !

I stand corrected by my photography guru (i too am still learning )

Appartently is v.common to place the subject off-centre.

If the lamb had been in the bottom left corner instead of bottom right, it would have been much better shot.

Also, it would have better if there wasn't another lamb behind it.

Something to do with 'rule of thumb in photography.' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds)

Anyway you live and learn.

Ps They are fab photos.

off to bed now... very tired
