Show us your daffodils!

Hi all,

How's about a collection of daffodil pics on this thread? They are sprouting all over the place at the moment so the timing is right. Get out there in the fresh air!

Here's one for starters taken this morning on the way to work. Haven't had time to PP it yet so pretend you haven't seen the dust splotches and the contrail for now - I'll tweak it this evening.

Canon 350D
17-85 IS lens at 26mm
ISO 100
F22
1/10th
Tripoded

Tobers

Last edited by Tobers; 16-03-2007 at 8:02 PM. Reason: removed dust splodges

Re: Show us your daffodils!

Great stuff everyone. I like the narrow depth-of-field shots. I should have tried some of those this morning with my daffodil hill.

Any more....?

I took this a few weeks ago. Had a play with selective colouring.

Re: Show us your daffodils!

A sepia daff:

from my first test roll through my Nikon F80. The colours looked odd so I had a go at a mono conversion. Probably didn't help that it was backlit through a green blind! Getting colour right on my negative scans is something I need to work at though.

Re: Show us your daffodils!

Some lovely pictures here
Living up in the hills, our daffs won't bloom for another week or so yet
One of my first shots taken with my 350D last April was of some daffs. Slightly overprocessed this one

I think it because you clicked the attachment icon instead of the landscape icon when you added ur photo.

Re: Show us your daffodils!

i save my photos onto flickr and the url link is displayed under properties (click right button on mouse)...copy and paste...

your URL link should read something like this-

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/158/4...66a6a5ed24.jpg

you can post preview before submitting to see if it has come out like you wanted it to.

Hope this helps...

Here's mine. There is actually a daffodil macro challenge on another forum I visit. Going to pick up a bunch tomorrow and set up some lighting at home for it.
