Fuji S7000 what settings?

Hi

First time on the photography forum...normaly just A/V. I will be taking my Son to see the European XI play Man Utd later this month, come on Europe! Anyhow I have got realy good seats down near the pitch, my Son lives and breaths football and wants photographs of Ronaldinho et al.

I am concerned about the lighting and shutter speeds, if I use my built in flash, within distance of course, it will fix my shutter speed which may not give me the shapest image! Will the lighting, flood lights, give me the right result to just go with the stadium lights? Can I make adjustments to the W/B to compensate? I will have a chance to get some real close ups from my position and don't want to miss the moment.

Any advice would be most welcome...

Regards........Kevin.
