Anyone used Cameras2U.com, if so how did you find there service.

I've used them a couple of times. Service is great. Stuff comes well packaged and arrives when they say it will.

I'd use them again

I used them at xmas for the wifes camera ordered on the wednesday arrived next day no problems

They're owned by Jessops, so you don't need to worry about them legging it with your cash.

I've used them and they're well-priced and quick.

What do you mean 'how do you find their service'?
I got a 580EX from them no probs. Don't worry about it. They are a straight-up company. Don't be paranoid! Forums do that - as in encourage paranoia.

I am not paranoid, just cautious, when spending quite a lot of money one needs to know about a little about a company’s service, thought this would be a good place to ask.

You're quite right to ask - their website is one of those suspicious-looking 'are they real or aren't they sort of URL's'.
You'll be fine ordering from them.

So go on then, make us jealous! what are you thinking about getting?

Agreed, I've used them for many purchases including 3 cameras (2 for me and one for a friend) and have never had a problem with them

I've bought a 30D and a 580EX on separate occasions. Both deliveries were on time and everything was perfect. I've no experience of their aftersales service in the event of a problem, since I haven't had one

Well once again many thanks for your replies.
Based on the your above I made a phone call to purchase the NIKON AF-S VR 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED . But as all other company's they have no stock.

However the phone call and help i received was one of appreciation, so certainly will be keen to order anything else from this firm.

onefivenine, seems like i'am not going to be able to make any one jealous, I sit here jealous of those others who have this lens.

Ordered a camera myself, listed "In stock" for next day delivery.Never arrived, after 2 phone calls ( the first person I spoke to promised to return my call but never did ) the camera arrived 4 days later without prior notification and no one was at home BUT the Initial City Link driver called back later when we were in and all was well.

Would I buy from Jessops again ? of course I would.
