EXIF Reader: For Windows XP (Free)

Ahoy!

I know many forum members often wonder how to read EXIF data from an image (there are various ways), but click the link, read the garb, decide for yourself, download and install if you think it will be of use to you.

Then again, it is free.

Re: EXIF Reader: For Windows XP (Free)

I've just downloaded it (cheers pirate) and noticed that it shows any exposure over 1s as 1/1 (ie 2s would be 1/1 and 30s would be 1/1) which isn't to handy. Is this the same for everyone else?

Nice one.. and unlike Bill Gates offering wont scan your system first ( I have no problem with that but I feel paranoid about WGA, a Prying "system" which requires an online only system and replaces active X keys every 30-60 days)
I seem to recall Vista actually has one built in

Re: EXIF Reader: For Windows XP (Free)

Not wishing to hijack your thread Pirate but for those of you who use Firefox as a browser, I find FxIF an excellent tool for displaying the Exif data of images. Once downloaded, just right click on a picture and select properties and as long as the image has the Exif data embedded then the settings will be revealed.

Nice one though it is also the case that the Opanda one linked by PaulBoy also has a standalone version as well as firefox plug in( which You can install after installing the standalone version)

I use firefox almost exclusively now and cannot be persuaded to use IE again when i have the choice
