I went on a walk in Leigh Woods today with the intention of taking lots of photos, but unfortunately as soon as I got there it started raining. Oh well, I got a shot which I quite liked, which is better than nothing, but I'm still not really sure about it. Doesn't really look real, but is actually just GIMP work rather than photomatix or anything like that. The sun burst through the clouds for about 5 minutes, and I quite liked the way it shone through the trees.

Opinions?

I like it. Nice atmosphere etc.

I took my new EOS 400D out today for the first time, and come back with two or three decent ones (and lots of not so good - still trying to get used to it / experimenting etc. !!!)
