I know this isn't a camera/photography question(have loads of them too), but lots of you guys here have been doing it

How do I/You change a full URL into a 'one word' or 'phrase' to post on forums

e.g. make my flikr url below look like "click here"



http://www.flickr.com/photos/48433318@N00/?

Any help appreciated, Tom.

Copy the link
Click on insert link icon.
Paste in link
This adds the link and a highlighted repeated link.
delete the highlighted bit and type in your words.

The post will appear with"your words" as the link.

The simplest (IMO) method is to type the complete post. Then highlight the word that you want to become a link, click the Insert Link button & enter/paste the URL for your link. Job done.

It's not just words that can appear as links either.
