Camera choice help

Hello,

My daughter has asked me for a digital camera for this xmas, so I am looking around for a starter camera for under £100, I have a Fuji F700 which I really like, but I do not to have to keep to that brand.

The things I would like to have are :-

A photo quality that will print ok up to A5
An ok zoom
A Flash that is capable of taking photos in the dark
And that main thing is that it is easy to use.

Any suggestions please?

Re: Camera choice help

Amazon is doing the A430 for £79 with free delivery.

I've just ordered the Canon A530 from Amazon for £99.99 with free delivery, for my daughter.

Re: Camera choice help

i think you may find it difficult to get a good camera for under £100 with a lithium battery, there is also the panasonic DMCLS2B selling at comet for £79 at the moment, thats a very good compact for the price with some great features but no ni-mh, it takes 2 AA,s, but you could always pick up a battery charger and 4 AA ni-mh batterys from somewhere like maplins for about £12, then you have some more back up when 2 run down.
