I am trying to work out what has happened.

Could be a good basis for a caption competition?

I'll go first:

"honest officer the skip just pulled out in front of me. I didn't stand chance of stopping"

Police officer no 1: " what a load of rubbish"

Police officer no 2 "yeah thats a pile of c**p"

was the laguna parked? if it wasnt then it looks like that sun has confused the vectra driver... as in "why the hell is there a laguna on my side of the road" and swerved into the skip, knocked it a fair bit too!

Hope the builders have got a licence for the skip to be on the road

or HSE will be on their case not to mention Building Control, Local Authority, Police, Insurance Companies etc etc etc...

I know onw thing...........if it was my Laguna I wouldn't have parked there

Renault parked up opposite side of road to skip (facing oncoming traffic). Vectra driver coming through gap, sun in eyes (probable) didn't see skip and has hit and moved the front end of skip out, burst tyre and back end of car has swung out into Renault.

The sunlight is a nightmare late afternoon this time of year (with the sun being so low).

The skip painted a dark red dont help.I like it that the builder just starts cleaning the mess up though.

The skip could of been speeding.
It could of been housing illegal immigrants.
It may have put up a violent struggle.
Or worse still.....

Dangerous things skips... I've a friend who also hit one under similar circumstances. Low sun, round a corner and wham. It just leapt out and hit him.
