DMC-FXO1 Disable Flash

I just got my new Panasonic DMC-FX01, and am not able to disable the flash. Can anyone help,

Just keep pressing the flash button (like a lightning bolt) until the flash symbol on screen displays a kind of circle with a line across (like the no smoking sign). If no info is showing on the screen then press the display button until it does.
