Not sure if anyone here has/had one of these (?) A colleague at work wants to buy some memory & currently uses a 512mb CF card (you can also use xD cards but they're sh!te he tells me) - I found a few reviews which stated some 1gb CF cards were OK but don't know if you can use 2gb CF cards (which is the best "bang for buck" option) - any help greatly appreciated ...

My missus has an S7000 & it's unfussy with 1Gb cards - I don't own anything larger. Fuji use a fairly aggresive compression so I wouldn't bother with 2Gb.

The camera can't make use of high speed media so unless read time is important, just go for whatever's cheap & cheerfull at Mymemory or Picstop this week.

Thanks Croc - I'll get him to buy a cheapo 2gb one from 7dayshop & if the Fuji doesn't like it I'll swop it for my Sandisk 1gb one
