lcd screen not woking

lcd screen not woking

my wifes nikon coolpix 4600 lcd screen has become faulty ie does not display an image at all. nobody is admiting to have droped it, but thats what looks like what has happend . is it cost effective to have it repaired or does anyone have any suggestions.many thanks

unless you can source a spare part and fit it yourself it is in no way cost effective to get that fixed. Nikon charge silly rates to do little things like that and it wouldnt be worth your while

thanks for that. i might try to find a new screen but im not hopefull.

Why not give them or one of their repairers a call and get a price. You'll find theres fixed pricing for repairs like this and if it's cheaper to replace they probably will.

replace with a refurbished camera. if your ok with paying all that money again for that then go ahead. Worth getting the quote but dont expect anything below £120
