Keep on looking around at DSLR's, saw the Pentax *ist DL body for £299 or a kit comprising the Pentax *ist DL Digital SLR + 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DA AL SMC + 75-300mm FAJ f4.5-5.8 AL SMC, all for £459 from Park Camera's.

Have some old lenses that may fit this camera which is what is driving me this way.

Any thoughts on these opttions ?

Had the same dilemna and I thought:

How old are the lenses?
Are the optics any good?
How long will I use the lenses before I get bored and buy new?

All the new lenses are similar prices and Sigma etc do lenses for most of the normal makes. In the end I decided it wasn't worth buying the Pentax just to use a few old lenses so went for the 350d in the end
