Matt - Not seen that before and after a quick look it could be quite useful & is very well made thankyou
The best D50 aid I have found is the Thom Hogan "E-Book" here which although around £20 (for delivery to UK) does have nearly 700 pages & is well written & informative IMHO ... Paul

suniil - if my planned upgrade to a D80 comes off (next month optimistically) you can have my copy at reduced cost

thanks matt excellent, just what i needed, can this be copied to a disk ?

You can grab a copy of the video using the SnagIt application. There was a free copy of the program on the CD that came with last month's Personal Computer World (ie the one dated Sept 2006!). The area of the video can be selected and you have an AVI with video and audio.

i downloaded snagit and copied the D50 tutorial, but just the video came out without the sound any ideas

I did a test tonight and the the result was perfect with video and audio. I am using an old copy of SnagIT, ver.7, with the onboard sound card, a Realtek AC97 audio chip. In the Capture Settings have you the audio icon selected and in the Output Properties have you selected and set up your sound device? If the download is the latest version is it crippled by having the audio unavailable? Can't think of anything else. Hope it helps.

i think the audio must have been crippled in this version, as i have tried again but still no sound, any idea where i could download version 7 ??
