A few people spotted lurking in Bradford this afternoon - 12 pics

Had a quick wander around Bradford festival this afternoon. Got a few people shots before the sun disappeared.

1. African queen

2. Am I smiling enough for you darling?

3. Let's do the salsa

4. You hum it - I'll just strum it!

5. Take me to your leader !

6. Young love - ahhh.

7. Have you seen my earth sister ?

8. Blow me baby

9. I'm with you honey

10. Me too. Us saxophonists have to stick together.

11. Damn I just hit a bum note!

12. No worry babes - it's cool

Nice Pics Rayfin. Not a bad shot among them.
I really like the vibrant colours in 1 and 2. I think 6 is a really sweet candid and the depth of field is excellent.
The reflection of the crown in the sax player's shades in no 8 is a nice detail.

Great expressions in 11 and 12. You could almost re-caption them - 11 "who farted?", 12 "heh heh heh..."! (Sorry - schoolboy humour never dies!)

Thanks for sharing them

Thanks (what's happened to the Thanks button by the way ?).

I was considering both the couple in no.6 and the sax player with the reflective shades for the people comp. To be honest I didn't notice the reflection of the crowd when I took it - only spotted it when I downloaded.

I can definitely see why - it must have been hard to choose an entry with those as contenders!

It's cool when you spot little details like the reflection especially when not planned. Makes the photography all more worthwhile

I took a photo recently of my girlfriend's mum's neighbour's dog - it's eye reflected her house and garden beautifully. I plan to attempt a repeat sometime, with a closeup of the dog's head but I suspect it'll be hard to recreate esp with animals involved!
